Born in Ahmedabad, Darshan Gurjar is one such actor who leaves you mesmerised by his acting skills. It all looks so real that at one time you would confuse it to be true. He was born on 5 September 2001 and got his first break in Bollywood in 2010 in a movie called ‘Paathshala’. Although the major recognition came with the movie ‘Gundey’ in 2012 where he played the young character of his favourite actor ‘Ranveer Singh’ aka ‘Bikram’. His intensity of acting can be seen in his eyes. The emotions that he portrays are all true to the core. Other movies where he was featured are Ishq Junun, Paper Boats, etc. He is presently working in ‘Divya Dutta’ starter movie Tennis Buddies which is soon going to be released.



Darshan mainly worked in Indian TV commercials for some of the reputed brands like ‘ Cello Butterflow’,  Rooh Afza’, ‘Hazmola’, ‘Ujala’ etc. These were the platforms which taught him the basics of acting. The experiences that he got here came to be a boost for his career as an actor. Directors came to know about this prodigy, and hence he was cast in various TV shows. One of the iconic characters that he played was of ‘Karthikeya’ in a popular TV show ‘ Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’ on Life OK. This role gave him the proper boost to improve his set of skills and pleasingly apply them to any given script. He then played the role of ‘Suraj’ in ‘Udan’ on Colors TV. A great show to behold, it was sensational acting from his side. He had also played in TV shows like Gumrah, CID, Crime Patrol etc.


One ecstatic moment in his life was when he was nominated for ‘The Best Lead Actor’ in the ‘Nice International Film Festival’ held in France in 2016. The movie in which he played was ‘An Untold Story of Paperboats’. It’s a short story directed jointly by Neeru Khera and Amit Khanna. According to him, it was an unbelievable feeling which he can’t express in words. Being nominated in a foreign country is itself a milestone and a remarkable feat to achieve. The confidence and popularity one gets from these Films Festivals is more than one can expect.


He studied in St. Xavier’s High School from the earlier days only he was famous for his acting among his family and friends. Swimming is his hobby. He also likes playing football.



With such astounding achievements, his position remains active in the media and entertainment industry. He will be soon going to great heights with this level of determination and experience. It will not be a surprise if he becomes one of the best actors in India soon.
